Truck Leveler

General Information

Includes Pit Mounted, Shallow Pit Mounted, Surface Mounted, and Low Profile.

Our Truck Levelers put your trucks where the work is leveling the truck bed to exact dock height for loading and unloading applications. Our Surface Mounted Truck Levelers for above ground installation are easy to set up and provide a quick and safe solution for leveling truck to dock. The Surface Mounted Truck Levelers are easy to relocate should dock locations or requirements change.

All Pit Mounted models require a recessed pit installation and can travel above or below grade level to accommodate a wide variety of trucks and dock configurations. A pit mounted truck leveler gives you more range of travel to accommodate a wide variety of trucks heights and dock configurations.

Product Information

Durability and Quality

  • Pit/Shallow Pit Mounted Truck Levelers – Joints feature chrome-plated, 100,000-psi, ultimate-strength pins for premium load strength and long life.
  • Pit, Shallow Pit, Surface Mounted, and Low Profile Truck Levelers – Minimum 1/4 inch thick steel reinforced platform minimizes deck deflection, maximizes load stability, and extends life of the platform deck.
  • Pit Mounted, Shallow Pit Mounted, and Low Profile Truck Levelers – Double wire braided Parker hydraulic hoses resist wear, abrasion, and leaks.
  • Low Profile and Surface Mounted Truck Levelers –Structural steel guide beams ensure consistent, reliable tracking of carriage rollers and extends the life of the beams.
  • Surface Mounted Truck Levelers – Heavy-duty SEW Eurodrive gear motor drive extends the life of the freight lift for years and years of rugged, reliable service.
  • Surface Mounted Truck Levelers – High capacity steel rollers with spiral-wound, Teflon-impregnated bushings produce smooth and reliable carriage movement.
  • Surface Mounted Truck Levelers – Synchronized, dual-chain lifting system ensures that the carriage remains level throughout the lift’s vertical travel, even with off-centered loads.
  • Low Profile Truck Levelers – Velocity fuses on cylinders and controlled descent in case of severed hose for added safety and extended hose life.
  • Low Profile Truck Levelers – Chrome-plated cylinder rods with corrosion resistance adds to life of cylinder.
  • Low Profile Truck Levelers – Low 5″ silhouette on surface mount and capillary tubes on pit mounted cylinders.
  •

Simplicity

  • Pit Mounted Truck Levelers – Wheel locator simplifies truck positioning.
  • Pit Mounted Truck Levelers – Cutout for truck restraint device ensures simple integration.
  • Pit/Shallow Pit Mounted Truck Levelers – Simple Up/Down pushbutton operation is used.
  • Shallow Pit Mount Truck Levelers – A full-width approach ramp facilitates truck positioning.
  • Surface Mounted Truck Levelers – Four-point lifting handles much larger and heavier loads.
  • Surface Mounted Truck Levelers – Mechanical design enables up to 100 feet of total vertical travel.
  • Surface Mounted Truck Levelers – Mechanical vertical conveyors are programmable and can be called or sent to multiple levels in a building or conveyor system.
  • Surface Mounted Truck Levelers – Open carriage sides empower customers with versatility in load transfer direction and product flow.
  • Low Profile Truck Levelers – Can easily be relocated to another dock and allows for positioning platform close to dock face.
  • Low Profile Truck Levelers – Pit mounted travels above and below grade and services a wide range of delivery trucks.
  • Low Profile Truck Levelers – Cutout in platform for truck restraint device.

Safety

  • Pit/Shallow Pit Mounted Truck Levelers – Solid steel side skirts protect openings and pinch points.
  • Pit/Shallow Pit Mounted Truck Levelers – Hydraulic velocity fuses completely stop lifts in the unlikely event of uncontrolled descent due to sudden hose rupture.
  • Pit, Shallow Pit, and Surface Mounted Truck Levelers –Minimum 3:1 structural factor of safety makes these lifts the most structurally sound in the industry.
  • Surface Mounted Truck Levelers – Load jam sensors suspend engine operation if the carriage or its load becomes jammed between landings.
  • Surface Mounted Truck Levelers – Motor control panel security requires personnel to activate a secure key switch before resuming lift operation following a load jam.
  • Surface Mounted Truck Levelers – Over-travel sensing switch suspends engine operation should the lift continue past the uppermost landing.
  • Surface Mounted Truck Levelers – Sensors on all lifting chains stop lift operation and movement if a slack chain is detected.
  • Surface Mounted Truck Levelers – Counterweight sensors serve as a back-up safety precaution to slack chain sensors by suspending engine operation when a counterweight is lifted out of the guide tube.
  • Surface Mounted Truck Levelers – Certified carriage brakes stop carriage falls in the very unlikely event of a sudden breakage of both lifting cables.
  • Surface Mounted Truck Levelers – Standard-issue shaft way barrier bar system improves personnel safety when carriage leaves the upper landing.
  • Surface Mounted Truck Levelers – Interlocked landing gates automatically lock once the vertical lift carriage leaves a landing and cannot be opened until the lift carriage returns to that landing.
  • Surface Mounted Truck Levelers – Gate status switches prevent lift operation while any gate is open.
  • Low Profile Truck Levelers – Provides a slip-resistant surface.
  • Low Profile Truck Levelers – Platform constructed of 4-way tread plate.
  • Compliance with recognized standards:

Maintenance and Warranty

  • Pit/Shallow Pit Mounted Truck Levelers – Efficient and highly serviceable hydraulic power unit reduces downtime.
  • Low Profile Truck Levelers – Provide a “sealed” hydraulic system in the event of pit flooding.
  • Surface Mounted Truck Levelers – Heavy-duty SEW Eurodrive gear motor requires minimal service and maintenance.
  • Surface Mounted Truck Levelers – Maintenance-free carriage rollers require no lubrication.
  • Surface Mounted Truck Levelers – Eurodrive gear motor’s manual brake release overrides handle to help in lift start-up and trouble-shooting.
  • Surface Mounted Truck Levelers – Straddle design places much lower stress on the guide rollers, extending useful life.
  • Pit Mounted, Shallow Pit Mounted, and Low Profile Truck Levelers – We offer a 2-year warranty on all parts as a promise that you’ve purchased the industry’s most reliable lift.
  • Surface Mounted Truck Levelers – We offer a 1-year warranty on all parts and a 5-year warranty on lift structure as a promise that you’ve purchased the industry’s most reliable VRC.
